I do love The Long Kiss Goodnight, regardless of its status as a Christmas movie or not. Speaking of Shane Black, I also love The Last Boy Scout, which he wrote. Underrated and wrongly disparaged. But The Predator was unmitigated liquid crap.In my defense I was not watching it AS a Christmas movie, I just like it and it was added to streaming. But it IS set at Christmas, as Shane Black’s movies typically are. And they are all, typically, better than Die Hard

Forgot to say this yesterday, but Taylor Negron was seriously underutilized in his career. His Milo was spot on. I had a friend in high school whose older brother was a certified sociopath (currently doing 25 for Murder 2 during a robbery). The affect and mannerisms were just like that. Scary.
