Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense

There are some things that women in the military can do well. Infantry combat is not one of them. Drone operators maybe, but get to close to the front and you're a combat liability. Rear echelon stuff, sure. But we need to be honest about this. If you can make the physical grade and the rest of it, same as the men, fine. 99.999% of women cannot and never will. If we want our military to be the best (as in, the best at defeating our enemies), this whole women in combat roles needs to be rethought out,

And yeah, call it the Department of War, not Dept of Defense. No one ever won a war by defending. It's psychological too. I want our military to be the meanest motherfuckers on the planet (and in space too). I want our enemies to crap themselves when they know we're on our way, not laugh and make jokes. I want them to know if our guys are coming, they are going to be annihilated.

And yeah, excise the wokeness. It's a cancer that needs to be cut out ruthlessly.

Men are just stronger and better at this shit. I'm fit, I'm fast and I can shoot better than my husband - at targets. Doesn't matter. I can hit him first 99 times out of a 100 but however hard I kick or hit him in sparring, he just shrugs it off. Life ain't the movies. If he ever hit me for real, I'd be toast. LOL. Same with strength. He's run 5 miles with me over his shoulder. For a bet (I was silly enough to laugh at him....it was not comfortable LOL but he did it. I can't even pick him up. Translate that into combat and injured....liability.

It's not just the difference in strength because we can invent tech to overcome that. It's that women try, but they never actually achieve being "one of the guys." Women aren't built to handle the constant physical/mental stress of the "rough and tumble" world men live in.

Men know this and set women apart. Yes, it looks like equal from the outside, but every man on the "team" knows who to call on when shit gets real and it won't be the woman.

Recall the pushback to that claim!

Lots of anecdotes in that article
  • One general on an official visit to Russia found stumbling drunk in the streets of Moscow..
  • Two Marine generals sacked for cause for not instituting security protocols to protect a Marine base in a hostile zone.
  • One general sacked for attempting to pass off counterfeit chips in a casino
The list goes on...
Damn right the list goes on. You can read about it here:

Obama's Military Coup Purges 197 Officers In Five Years

7:01 PM ET 10/29/2013
Defense: What the president calls "my military" is being cleansed of any officer suspected of disloyalty to or disagreement with the administration on matters of policy or force structure, leaving the compliant and fearful.

We recognize President Obama is the commander-in-chief and that throughout history presidents from Lincoln to Truman have seen fit to remove military commanders they view as inadequate or insubordinate. Turnover in the military ranks is normal, and in these times of sequestration and budget cuts the numbers are expected to tick up as force levels shrink and missions change.

Yet what has happened to our officer corps since President Obama took office is viewed in many quarters as unprecedented, baffling and even harmful to our national security posture. We have commented on some of the higher profile cases, such as Gen. Carter Ham. He was relieved as head of U.S. Africa Command after only a year and a half because he disagreed with orders not to mount a rescue mission in response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi.

Rear Adm. Chuck Gaouette, commander of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, was relieved in October 2012 for disobeying orders when he sent his group on Sept. 11 to "assist and provide intelligence for" military forces ordered into action by Gen. Ham.

So please no tears when Trump decides to fire some woke ineffective generals.

Oh WOW...a FEMALE VETERAN weighs in on women in combat!

I wonder if this FEMALE VETERAN recognizes that we live in an age of asymmetrical warfare nowadays?

This isn't World War 2 with front lines and such.

Anyone in any combat zone could be subject to attack at any time. Women seemed to have acquitted themselves with honor in both Afghanistan and Iraq, yet armchair generals like Botany Boy and yourself seem to be fixated on how many pullups a female soldier can do and how they can hump a rucksack. I wonder how many pullups were done in Iraq by male soldiers and if there was a correlation between number of pullups and bravery?
Except when you stack 110 lbs on their back they, in the words of one General, "fold up like a crouton." They can't do what men do with the same levels of endurance, savagery, or lethality.

It's the savagery part where they fail. The rest can be overcome to a certain extent, but no one will ever agree that a woman can be the equal of 2 tough old bulls hammering on each other until one either dies or gives up.

Troops don't do that much if at all in a combat zone these days.
Speed kills.

You watch too many war movies.

You should probably learn more about what went on in the mountains of Afghanistan, going door to door in Fallujah, or humping combat gear across the open ground of that cemetery we used to call Ukraine.

Face it, you can't win a war with tough guys any more. The Ukraine war is not going to be decided by which side has tougher guys.

I think I met him when they were out collecting signatures to get on the ballot for his Senate campaign.
Yeah - he's across the country from me but from what I read and saw, a really impressive candidate. This is one heck of a team Trump is putting in place.

The Great Reset indeed - this is the kind of real reset we need.

Trump and Vance better have really good security tho - this is a threat to the foundations of the Deep State. They need a new head of the Secret Service, somebody who knows HIS stuff and can kick ass until they're back to what they should be. Plenty of pro-Trump special forces guys around that'd signup to protect Trump

I'm from Missouri about the whole thing. I was hopeful about all the Hope-N-Change no sense, either, and it/they didn't disappoint.

We'll see.
