Same story in 2016 - I really hoped Trump would moderate and be my president, and not just those who voted for him.

Boy I was mistaken. Aside from the personality worthy of a high school bully/frat boy, it seemed like he didn't care about governing the country as he was running it like the next campaign. And not to forget his throwing this nose at norms, traditions, and ethics - things that have made America great.

While I cautiously hope he would be the president for all of us and he succeeds in keeping our common interests, I have my doubts. I hope courts intervene if he makes any extreme moves, and the checks/balance prevail. Or, will he be emboldened by the streak of luck, in not being held accountable for many of his foibles, including those that he committed in/after office.

Let's see how long civility holds.
