I love thunder and lightning! ️🌩Unfortunately, we don't get it here very much at all.

My favorite thing. Rainy weather pins down all the allergens, which makes me feel really good.

Although, it didn't last. We now have accumulation and the ground is white.
The dog barks to go out, then stands there looking like I completely betrayed her by putting the white stuff on the ground.
Thus starts the cycle: Woof, let me out! Woof, it's tool cold let me in! Woof, let met out...

I stopped at the store today to get candy and NOT ONE Trick-Or-Treater!

We didn’t have as many kids as we usually have. We’ve started a block party type thing where we all pool our candy so you don’t have to buy as much. Make snacks and have a good time handing out. Keeps the traffic down on our little nook also. They used to bus them into our neighborhood but this year it was about half of what we had. School is out today so I wonder if that had something to do with it?

Yes sir! Have been caught out on the water too many times. In HS I used to clam as a summer job. Three of us had been out and killing it all morning when a storm started brewing. All the other clam diggers headed for the hill but we three idiots rolled the dice…came up snake eyes! The bottom dropped out and here we were, three dummies in an underpowered skiff, with about 1500 clams between us, lighting hitting the spartina grass all around!. It looked like small explosions or something out of a war movie! I was so damn scared, just knew we were going to get hit any second. Longest 10 mins of my life!

I did some research about my plateau. One thing it mentioned was to do a bit of fasting, so I'm incorporating 16/8. We'll see. I'll make 100K steps this week, I think.

Reminds me of some sitcom years ago where the 2 main characters go to several Thanksgiving dinners in a row. Intending to just nibble at all but the last, they end up the ones stuffed. I was never so glad to watch an episode on an empty stomach.
Not sure which sitcom. Maybe Will & Grace???
