The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Back in the early 60's we had them in the missile site. The Launch Officer and the tech in the launch control center. The idea was to keep one guy from launching the missiles but there were other safeguards built in. A couple guys had shoulder holsters for them. It made it easier to play cards which is what we did most of the time anyway.
;)

I spent a fair amount of time in the hospital after surgery. I loved the nurses that cared for me. What surprised me was their surprise when I want to know their names. Some of them were surprised and I wasn't trying to make time. I just appreciated how kind they were.
A good nurse can really transform a procedure and/or recovery 🤗

That sounds like a lot of shit done 👏🏽 Give yourself a bit of credit you are doing brilliantly. Anything gets you down call into the bar and ask your friends to help…….because we will 😘
I agree w/ @Greylag, @Lilianna23.
Credit and a pat on the back.
easy to get overwhelmed and then in a hole and feel it difficult to dig your way out.
One project, task, chore, questionnaire at a time... few minutes a day, every day.
It gets better, easier the longer you work at it.
🤗

Yes, otherwise closed loop is the option. We had the water and space, so...

That's an air to air heatpump. Look into a closed loop, or open loop ground source heat pump.

Edit: It's finally raining! Thunder, Lightning, and the whole bit!
I love thunder and lightning! ⚡⛈️🌩Unfortunately, we don't get it here very much at all. 🥺

I can only stretch after the heating pad which makes me wonder if it’s inflammation and not muscles. I will accept opinions here from your experiences and the nurses from their treatment of patients. Then I may need to see a doctor if it gets worse.
Warming your muscles helps the fibers stretch without damaging them. That's why personal trainers recommend warming up first rather than do cold stretching.

My neighbor has a heat pump and solar. My HVAC people advised me not to do either considering the payback period was longer than my expected stay at this house. I have opted for thermal window coverings.
We looked into solar. Besides the same ROI you're experiencing, there are too many trees, especially on the west side of the house, to make it worthwhile.

I have spent a fair amount of time in hospitals over recent years with myself and parents etc. When I walk in it always seems the nurses are doing mostly paper work.
I stil have follow up visits for my issues and physicals etc. I rarely see a Dr. anymore. Mostly PA's
There are not enough MDs to do all the work now. PAs and NPs can handle routine work. If I had to choose between them, I would choose a Nurse Practitioner (NP) as they can practice independently. PAs (Physician Assistants) don't have the same education or licensing and may not practice independently.

That said, I went to a new Dermatology clinic today and saw a PA. He was perfectly fine for me to see as it was just a routine visit.

In my experience, if you plan to let a battery sit for long periods of time, it seems best to disconnect the ground cable. If it runs down, recharge (slowly!) the week before you need it again. Keeping them on a charger seems to kill them.
This is what we've always done. I will check with my boat guy, Frank, to get his take.

Curious on your opinions on Daylight Savings time! Recently I read there are serious health effects like increased risk of heart attacks. I prefer there be no DST but that is just me.
Not only that, but also increased risks for accidents due to a decrease in brain processing. It's a real hazard. We need to stop moving the clocks. There is no practical need for it anymore.

The rules have changed for a lot of things. Not all of it is for the better, I think. There is more oversight, and that always seems to generate more paperwork and gives some nincompoops jobs as "inspectors" to do whateverthefuck it is that they do. And it all costs more money, and we don't see much of that, if any.

I was teasing you a bit about your long previous answer, but I'm very empathetic about your plight.

In other news, we got our new piece of dirt surveyed today and the landlady marked the corners. She also met by accident the guy who owns some of those lots in there. They discussed what each of us has and what our Grand Designs are. Like von Ribbentrop and Molotov, they partitioned Poland. Now we have a plan of acquisition.
I was one of the nincompoop inspectors in my last job as Quality manager. Much of my job was mandated by the State and Federal governments.

It's all about money. Organizations try to cut corners to save money which can result in unacceptable patient outcomes. CMS had to implement "guidelines" (read - requirements) for outcome measures in order for payment to happen.
