No Party of Government can ever be a threat to government and governments are not formed by the destitute.

Now, a party can very fairly be labeled as Leftist when it meets the test of its adherents, who are unabashedly Leftists. It is a rather nuanced system that we employ in choosing our national leaders. You get the two choices and if you're a Leftist, to have any say, it's Democratic.

Unfortunately, for your argument, we see clearly that same inference being freely (and enthusiastically) drawn when the label "Republican" is used.

It is either false or true, but I don't see it as situationally so.
