Agreed. I love B&W, but sometimes it just doesn't work. There are times you need that color variation to add depth to the image. That's where I got to. You lose the reflections in the water in b&w
There’s NINE of you?!?!Did you just call me a ringwraith?!![]()
I'm not sure who'd love that more, me or the SO...There’s NINE of you?!?!

What an absolute treasure trove
St. George's Island off the panhandle in Florida. This was taken just as a storm passed overhead and converged with another over the bay. The pics from that day were almost worth the close as fuck lightning strikes. What an absolute treasure troveI could spend days there...

Who develops your film??https://i.postimg.cc/tgJxmqrV/Gulls-Gulls-Gulls.jpg
who takes a film camera into the sea?
this idiot. Rollei 35 and Kodak Ektar
I wanted to a) get a shot of the gulls and b) try and capture that woozy feeling of being in the sea and getting out of your depth.
Who develops your film??
Nasty chemicalsColour is done by a local lab. Black and white is done by me. I did colour for a while, but easier (and nearly as cheap) to send to a lab.
Nasty chemicals
My dad was an aerial photographer for the US Navy back in the Korean War. He taught me as a kid how to develop B&W and I was still doing so, using his 50+ yrs enlarger and gear, up until 10 years ago.colour ones are pretty nasty as they use bleach. B&W are not too bad - you can use lemon juice as a stop bath. Mostly just a bit smelly

I thank you for triggering fond memories.
