I’m more into their Southern Charm burger, easy on the mayo. That candied bacon! There are multiple ingredients I dislike in Reubens though

I tried that burger once. I *hated* the candied bacon. I love bacon, but sugary bacon does nothing for me.

It's not, but kudos for knowing about them! That one is from Jämtland. Sweden has landskap, which are not quite states and not quite counties, they're a unique thing and each one has their own colour and style of folk dress.

Sámi dresses are not Swedish dresses - their culture and tradition is completely separate from Swedish ones. There was actually an inhuman drive during the past few centuries of trying to eradicate Sámi culture, both in Norway and Sweden, forcibly trying to assimilate them into the "modern" society.

It's a horrific piece of history.

When I visited Oslo I saw a fantastic photo exhibition about Sami culture and the fact they don't have borders - just a large patch of area they live in across the north of Norway and Sweden.

They are so colourful. This exhibition was celebrating them.

I also watch a Sami film every Christmas when we wrap the prezzies - it is just a reindeer migration and it's shot from the sleds through the journey. There's almost zero dialogue, but it is beautiful travelling through the snow swept landscapes with the Sami herders.

Sámi culture is beautiful, and they have a style of music called Joik. It's wordless vocalization, expressing emotion and connection to forebears and nature.

This guy showed up in traditional Sámi dress to Sweden's Got Talent a few years back, performing a Joik for his late friend Daniel. Please take a minute if you have it, it's haunting.
