The blends for the stuff it actually works in are unbalanced at best, the products themselves use cheap ingredients that don’t taste all that good, and then they go ninety steps too far and put it in things that fall spices do absolutely nothing for whatever product they’re in (e.g. cold cereals).
Get the fuck out of here.
Just get a decent recipe, buy a few spices, and make up your own blend in 5 minutes. Anything you make with it, from coffee to pumpkin pie, will be cheaper and better than anything “pumpkin spice” you buy in a store.

I did think it was funny when I realized my neighbor who always puts up fun, festive stuff on his house for whatever season, has a bunch of skeletons crawling around the yard and up his house... but.... it's just September. So... I guess Halloween has moved beyond just a month for celebration into two months?
