Thanks for sharing. I have had BPH since I was 50. And my PSA has been about 4 for the past 4 years. This year it went to 5.5 and will see the urologist for more information.

My GF and I have been sexually active. So, there are a number of reasons including cancer that can explain the increase: sex, BPH and older age (72).

So I technically am doing this also but my “fast” I do overnight. That way I don’t cheat. Then have a big breakfast and a decent lunch. If I do have supper then small. This was all brought on by my job out of necessity not really me trying. Just sort of happened. I can vouch for its effectiveness though. Lost a little over 1 Stone in about six months. Not too shabby.

If I feel an allergic reaction coming on, I take Benadryl and Pepcid. One of them is an H1 blocker one of them is an H2 blocker. We used it in the ER all the time.

pepcid - it's okay... but i miss my Zantac (ranitidine)... i want my Zantac back. Pepcid (famotidine) simply isn't as effective IMHO
