The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I don't know what the slightly elevated PSA is but mine was high. Good think I had it checked. I had a proctectomy and am still kicking. I was in surgery one day and out the next. I consider myself lucky since I did have prostate surgery and am 10 years out now.
It's generally a fairly simple surgery. Having the test can save your life.

I am constantly telling my wife this - she needs more protein. She takes really good care of herself, but I am not sure why she rolls her eyes at me whenever I bring it up… 🙄🙄

Any suggestions, gang? 😂
Feed her protein foods she likes. Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, salmon, eggs, chicken, quinoa, chickpeas.

Just Google "foods high in protein" to get lists of foods. Pick ones she likes. Protein shakes and bars can be good, too. Just need to watch calorie counts on some.

I like Premier Protein. Their shakes are good, low calorie, and have 30 gm of protein.

Thanks for sharing. I have had BPH since I was 50. And my PSA has been about 4 for the past 4 years. This year it went to 5.5 and will see the urologist for more information.

My GF and I have been sexually active. So, there are a number of reasons including cancer that can explain the increase: sex, BPH and older age (72).
