Day 3: A song that is an album title track

But don't you come here and say I didn't warn you
About the way your world can alter
And oh how you try to command it all still
Every single time it all shifts one way or the other

First Aid Kit - The Lion’s Roar

Mwaah I love them! They're a pretty constant presence at festivals around the country, most commonly at Peace&Love Festival in Borlänge every year  They always always draw such a lovely crowd! Gosh I haven't been in years... Might be time for a revisit.

Day 3: A song that is an album title track

Motörhead by Motörhead from their first album… Motörhead (1977 demos w the original lineup but released in 1979 or 80 after they got big.)

(In the US it was released as On Parole”)

Lemmy wrote the song when he was still in Hawkwind and there’s a cool version if you search for it.

Lemmy’s howl of “all right” at the 1:20 mark just before the solo, is my favorite all time non lyrical moment in song - just hits you in the gut.

Day 3: -A song that is an album title track

"Wendy, let me in, I wanna be your friend
I wanna guard your dreams and visions"

Pretty powerful line for a then 23 year old musician. Maybe one of the more famous album title tracks in rock? ..So much so, he did use it for the title for his autobiography some forty years later as well.

Day 4: A song that is a B side

The other members of the band didn't want "Beth" on their album 'Destroyer' so they buried it on second side of their 3rd single of the summer.
I've always loved this song.

Day 4: A song that is unreleased or B-side

I'm sorry... what is this "B-side" term referring to? Do we turn our phones over and it plays a different song?

*sigh* Let me try to figure out (being a young woman) what this could possibly mean...

Sarah McLachlan came out with an album titled: Rarities, B-Sides & Other Stuff... I love this cover (Joni Mitchell) from it. Hope that counts. 🤷‍♀️

My 9th grade French Teacher once asked if we could “turn over” the VHS of some French Lesson she was making us watch. Hmm not sure why I thought of that.
