The requirement to be 50 level qualified in 5 separate MOSs. The leadership training as well as teaching leadership, not counting combat Training or physical training. To promote oneself as a retired CSM is despicable. He should have promoted his service for 22 years as an E-8 which in itself is a remarkable feat, he chose to identify as a CSM without earning that title. It's an affront to legit CSMs

Soldiers have differences of opinion all the time, they can criticize each other but they don't call gold star families traitors for differing viewpoints.

Sorry to break the news to you, but a Marine veteran named J.D. Vance did despicably denounce another veteran named Tim Walz on more than one occasion. You got that wrong. Walz, on the other hand, has not countered with disparaging Vance's military service. He has the high ground in this regard. Walz is far more honorable than the vice presidential Republican candidate.

It is not true that veterans do not criticize other veterans. Vance's actions prove that this belief is false. Being a veteran does not make you immune to criticism. Vance used a minor language mistake to attack a political opponent, and it was particularly egregious because it was about the sensitive topic of stolen valor. Vance was wrong to make such an attack in an attempt for political gain.

Let's be clear: I'm not involved in the use of the term traitor, and I've never used it in reference to gold star families. If you have concerns about this, I suggest you raise them with others who are involved with applying the term to you or others.

Don't try to paint me with your yellow brush. You may need help straightening out your limited ability to see clearly what others so easily grasp.
