Trump didn’t "show up" for the FIRST TWO anniversaries of that tragic event, but decided to "show up" for the THIRD for "some" reason. (*Hint* it had something to do with an election and using Arlington National Cemetery as a shooting location for a political ad.)

Vance used a minor language mistake to attack a political opponent, and it was particularly egregious because it was about the sensitive topic of stolen valor. You being prior service you're OK with stolen valor. Do you understand the sacrifices, the amount of training, the intense academic challenges that it takes to be a Command Sergeant Major. The requirement to be 50 level qualified in 5 separate MOSs. The leadership training as well as teaching leadership, not counting combat Training or physical training. To promote oneself as a retired CSM is despicable. He should have promoted his service for 22 years as an E-8 which in itself is a remarkable feat, he chose to identify as a CSM without earning that title. It's an affront to legit CSMs
