I played on and off through Stormblood, but I felt the story was just becoming more and more convoluted. Lost interest. Only ever played it for the story

What data center/world are you on? Guessing probably one of the EU DCs? Stormblood was okay, but Heavensward, Shadowbringers and Endwalker were so much better! I’m getting a late start on Dawntrail though, and can’t comment on that yet, but it has TACOS!

Full disclosure I love it so much entirely because of the experience of playing it with my kids, and feeling the story unfold over multiple sessions where we discussed it in between.YMMV

We're really on opposite sides of the spectrum then. The only multiplayer game I've played recently is baldurs gate 3 and even that I was playing alone. Space Marine doesn't look like a game for me but holy fuck do I love reading warhammer lore.

I do prefer single player. But adulting makes socializing and gaming time precious so I combine them where I can. Shoot I ain’t finished Cyberpunk ugggh. I just remembered,

BG2 is also one of my top 5 games. I’ve had trouble getting into BG3, I don’t love Larian’s engine. It feels more like Divinity 3 than the sequel to my beloved BG2.

I don’t even love Warhammer.(I have so many PDFs of game lore that I’m never gonna finish ). But 3 player coop is my sweet spot.

Oh I don't remember whatsoever, but somewhere in the EU. I heard Dawntrail was a new story arc, but, I can't bring myself to play through the other expansions that lie in between Stormblood and Dawntrail.
Not when there are so many other goodies to play, and especially since I'm not a big fan of the gameplay itself of ffxiv
