A few years ago, Halloween night, we're doing this driveway party with the neighbors.

One neighbor had recently been to Transylvania. Dracula's castle even. They made it all touristy apparently. She bought some vodka made there and shared it with us here at the party.

It was fuggin terrible. I had several shots though. I mean, how often am I gonna have vodka from Dracula's castle on Halloween night?

It's a riff on one of the great lines in Chinatown.

I have never seen Chinatown or Rosemary’s Baby or any other Polanski movie, and refuse to do so until said monster is dead and unable to profit from my doing so. I have never watched a Woody Allen movie either.

When my daughter had friends sleep over she would move Creepydoll "so she can watch over them while they sleep." While they were asleep.

That reminds me of when one of my best friends from elementary-middle school used to have sleepovers. She and her family had a collection of porcelain dolls in the living room, where we would watch movies and set up sleeping bags…and the movie we watched on our very first sleepover was…DOLLS!

When I was around 18-19, this guy on a previous social forum was pestering me with unsolicited dick pics and (disturbingly) pervy messages. When he refused to stop, I looked up his username to see if it was repeated elsewhere, and it was, on this newfangled site called Facebook, where he had his niece and older sister added. I didn’t (and still don’t and never will) have an account there, but I wrote a message to his sister and forwarded screenshots of his messages and (blurred out) pics to her, through a friend. From what I understand, she tore him a new one.

It is a love letter to the seedier sides of LA, in the punk era. This ran non-stop on cable when I was in high school. Harry Dean Stanton is a national treasure.
