I hope you get an entire nights worth in those few hours. Sit one alarm across the room. That helps sometimes. I think I managed 4 hrs last night. I have late night today. I'll come home and then have to leave about 6 and be back around 9:30ish.

Heading for my second cup...I'm glad it's Thursday. I didn't even have to go to work on Monday and the week already seems long. Still don't feel divorced yet. I guess it's because 3 years have already gone by. That's prolly why the week felt so long. Monday was a bit stressful. I'm just glad he didn't show up.
My lawn is so tall I have bunnies hiding in it. I had to stop my kid from trying to catch them. I have to mow if it will stop raining this weekend.

Well. I'm on an adventure. I have to ride bus home. No big deal. Done this lots of times. And it's free with my badge.

There's only 2 bus routes at my stop......until today. A third bus route added to accommodate move in day....for the first time ever. And I am on that wrong bus.

So. I guess I'll see the sites and eventually come to a stop where I can catch the right bus.

The bus driver just called me out....

One cannot describe his reaction as laughter....more like guffaw followed by, "well I'll getcha there...only cost ya 10 minutes...whelp I'm on break gotta get food. I'm out till 1230."

Don't tell me this!! I'm doing the math Bob....it'll be 15 minutes before the kid at the counter can count your change back!!!

Isn't public transportation wonderful?

When I was working, I considered trying to take the bus. First, I would have to drive to a Park-N-Ride as there are no busses that come to our neighborhood. Then, I would have to change busses no less than 3 times. It would take me 3 hours to get to work! I noped out of that pretty quickly.

This was ours. Even though I was told since I was 18 that I could not have kids, she surprised us when I was 40. We looked for car seats for it but didn't have any luck, so we had to trade it in. Didn't feel right not having something to drive her around in.

She's totally worth it though.

I did shots with no salt or lime but chased it with water.

When I was (much) younger and a bit more foolish, I used to go out with my girl group. We would have these tequila shots with a 7-UP float. I forgot what we called them. You put your hand over the top of the shot glass, bang it on the table, then drink it down.

I can't drink like that any more. When I do drink (it's rare), two is about my limit.

I am not an expert on tekillya but had some nice sipping tekillya in Mexico. Pretty smooth snd tasty

Mexico has excellent tequila! When I lived in LA, we frequently made weekend runs for the border! That's when you could go across with just your driver's license.

I have 6 till a three day weekend. I had really cool plans for that Saturday...This reminds me to call and see if they are still on. I hope so. That will be my "celebrating" being free night If we do go

So 320 miles and eight and a half hours later I am at my daughters. That includes three half hour breaks so pretty uneventful. Good to see she is well as I have a grandchild scheduled for mid October!

Why does pain always ramp up at night?
I'm too old for all nighters! Especially two in a row

I think it's because there are fewer stimuli at night. Your cortisol level goes down. Few distractions from the pain.

I'm so sorry, sweetie! Try to stay ahead of it. Perhaps take some pain meds before you go to sleep, even if you aren't in pain yet. Once you wake with pain, it's at a higher level and it takes longer for it to come down. It's much easier to treat the pain on the way up than try to treat at the peak.

Im a few pages behind I think. Up early to drive to Philly for the day. Looking forward to the people and meetings there but not the commute.

Luckily the 4H fair and tractor pulls are tonite, and I’ll meet my wife there. It’s only an hour from Philly and 30 minutes south of us so it’s actually good logistically. Wife will catch a ride with some friends and I’ll bring her home.

Eat some fun fair food for dinner.
