"Story time!"I had a spreadsheet like that once. After the umpteenth time of fixing it, it magically turned into an access database with a switchboard. Forced them to enter the required information. Miss a field? it won't save - you get an error. Put in the wrong format when it clearly tells you what it's asking for? Won't save and you get an error message. When we got a new supervisor she wanted to open it back up again. We had story time and the database stayed until I left.
Gotta love it when your peers self-own.They are not dumb...lazy...which is worse. In our weekly meeting this morning one of them straight up told me that it was my job to enter data and teams. In front of the manager. I had a really messed up look on my face, and she started to laugh. Because we had this conversation yesterday about how they never talk about you to me, and how I must just be overreacting to my frustration regarding my team. And I said well you know there's two things I could be overreacting, but I don't think they'll ever come to you because they've learned to function in the dysfunction. And I can only fight for so long, and if you think that I'm going to let documents go out with my name on them that look like junk you don't know me very well. I did say it nicer than that, but not much nicer. My manager and I get along great. She got a big eye opening experience with that though
That's insane! How can you sustain that? Do you have analysts that work with you to help?We are working on that.... all these flowchart flowsheet databases we have to use make and create is not sustainable when we have 4 people qnd qe supporting 200 practices.
A quick flick with the bag of the fingers is just as effective short term but doesn’t cause lasting damage. A lot less likely to get you time in the Jailhouse!Right...poke..pokity....poke
This would be the deluxe model knee replacement!
Did you get some more sleep? I fell asleep last night while I was on here trying to catch up!Morning hun. Going back to sleep...❤
My nephew got both in one twin package! My nephews don't seem to be in any hurry to procreate, and I think my kid is one-n-done. Then again, the beauty of grandparenthood is, you have 100% of nothing to do with any of it.
This is good advice! I'm fairly particular and also have trust issues. I could never just have a stranger here.Think about that one longtime GI and then listen to your guts and not your head. Meanwhile, close off the bits you aren't using so as not to heat/cool them. Close the vents. Look in on them once a month to make sure they haven't fallen down. Live peacefully otherwise. Or sell the house and buy something smaller.
Think very hard about a housemate.
I hate it when I do that! Especially when I've only been asleep an hour or two!Good Morning!! I hope everyone slept well. I was up around 1:30 thinking it was morning again. I ended up diving back in to sleep when I realized the time![]()
It does! I'm glad you're careful!Motorcycling requires a very heightened level of attention and awareness. I may not be perfect, but I seem to be good at it.
It was a really nice day today. Cloudy and cool-ish. It even rained!Dreamy, lil! That would be perfect!
You are absolutely right, Impy! Daily maintenance is always best! I'm sure you will have a line at your door! When you wear out the current one, just know he went with a big smile on his face!If we are going there, I prefer to do that much more often than 3 moths. It's relaxing, I'd probably do that every day. Poor poor guy when that chance finally happens. I already know the flouriest I will use to send flowers to his family..
We do have a gas furnace. The heat pump is over 10 years old. AFAIK it's still working fine. Should I have it checked? The only pisser with a heat pump is, the life expectancy isn't all that long - like 10-12 years. Outside a/c units will go 20-25 years, and gas furnaces will last at least that long. I think that if I were installing a new HVAC system from scratch and that gas was available to the area, that I'd do the gas furnace with electric a/c and forego the heat pump.
So relaxing! Thanks, OM!Beautiful Gold Glitter Particle Rain Falling Shimmers Sparkle Light 4K DJ Visuals Loop Background / IncrediVFX
I had never heard this. Luckily, we don't have extreme temps here. It's very rare for us to get below the 20s in the winter.Heat pumps don't work well below a certain temp as well. They freeze and shutdown. From what I've heard...
