And yes my son and daughter run with me...Heading out for 12... enjoy your day everyone!![]()
Good morning Wat. I considered selling but the cost of houses, even smaller ones, were out of my range. So, I have decided to get rid of clutter. Maybe next year I will reassess my situation.Or sell the house and buy something smaller.
Does the Author of this pic have initials J.F. ? A good friend of mine paints and he did one that looks like this but I'm not familiar with his signature.

This morning there was a fire at a mulching facility and its smoke is driving folks down wind. Fortunately I am east of it and the winds are blowing from the north west.Same! When we built our house, we did not have AC. Most people here don't have it as it was rarely needed. The past few years, we've used it more. I was VERY glad we had it the year we had fires here! I could not go outside without a respirator-type mask, the air quality was that bad! View attachment 2380460
Kinda:
Here are some of his. The girl was my best friend growing up. He painted her a lot. She passed during covidI don't see a credit and Google didn't volunteer one.
Off to get ready to worker bee.
I generally agree but there are times. Recently some neighbors thought it was great to have fireworks going off all over the place. I snapped and went out to the street and gave them the old drill sergeant voice. (I wasn't one but was recruited to give commands for large formations). I forget what I said but it worked.I find the silent stare to be much more effective than ranting!![]()
I have one like that also in a little shade garden. I made a pattern out of old full bricks that were torn down from a silo that was part of the farm our neighborhood is on now. I love it. I know yours is special so you can never get rid of it!I had that same statue in my garden until it broke a few years ago. Now I still have it on my bricks with the broken legs propping it up. Was my grandmas so I have a hard time just throwing it out.

Ramble on dear lady your ramblings are most interesting. Were you a mean drunk, Mr Grinch?
I was a happy drunk. I once met everyone in a bar/club and gave them all nicknames and called them by said nicknames all night. Our table had so many people around it and my friends kept asking me who they were and I would say their nickname. One couple was a body building couple like you see in the movies, big and bigget, they stopped a fight from getting near our table. I don't remember much from the night but my friends said it was the best night of their lives. (they are the only friends who know my kinky side). I do remember bits and pieces though, like big and bigget, forrest gump, my dance partner in crime (everyone made fun of him, so I chose to dance with him all night. I'm rambling again...nevermind
Om has a policy.. dont start something there won't be something..... and FAFOWhat did you do??? I didn't even know Lit had jail!
I was in twitmo for a month once!![]()
I agree.... once they are there hard to get rid of... I recommend more animals.... they keep you warm and make you laughThink about that one longtime GI and then listen to your guts and not your head. Meanwhile, close off the bits you aren't using so as not to heat/cool them. Close the vents. Look in on them once a month to make sure they haven't fallen down. Live peacefully otherwise. Or sell the house and buy something smaller.
Think very hard about a housemate.
If you get eal quiet when you talk so they have to lean in to listen that works tooI find the silent stare to be much more effective than ranting!![]()

But it sure feels good in the moment....umm....I shout at the hedges outside. Does it get odd looks from passersby? Sure...but do they leave me alone? Yes. Being abusive is inexcusable, being thought of as off your rocker is immaterial, being left in peace is priceless!True! Voice raising can be very counterproductive.

Grrrooowwwllllly.....that is your new name...There's a menacing quality that I have. Got it from somewhere. It shuts up the bitching except for the blind and the blithering. Kinda like a Clint Eastwood
Growly dwarf?Grrrooowwwllllly.....that is your new name...
People would be ok if they weren't so people-yAbsofuckinglutely
As many people as there are working on this apartment building, I am fortunate to be in places with almost no one. As you might guess correctly, that is how I like it. Plus it gives me a chance to think about what I’m looking at.
