It's not even a question to me.... I'm so massively positive we are much more than our experience here on this planet. In my little brain, that is far more fact then whether or not we breath oxygen. Sure, I accept we breath oxygen... but the other? I know that.

I got wank-nominated yesterday for mentioning that I had a Monday ahead of me with nothing to do.
Today is Tuesday and once again, I have nothing to do.
Which days of the week is it permissible to have nothing to do?
(incidentally, Mondays are my usual days off, but I'm taking vacation days this week to get a break before the fall programming starts back up and I'm hella busy).

Years ago when I worked third shift, fall and winter was so damned hard. I’d wake up in the dark, go home in the dark, and hardly ever see the sun. It was horrible.

I felt like a neglected houseplant.

I think we put out emotional energy into the places we are at the most. If that makes sense.

Most likely just lights out, but who we are remains. The affect on others, the love we’ve given, that never really dies.
In the end, that’s all that matters.

I think that what happens beyond death is far beyond our ability to conceive. I have no idea what it entails because it's impossible to wrap a human mind around. There are no frames of reference to compare it to.

This question is very much the bread and butter of my profession. And my stock answer is that we have no idea what actually happens when we die. And anyone who claims to know otherwise with 100% certainty is lying. I have hope and faith in something more, but I have no idea what that would look like or the mechanics of how our consciousness would continue.
