Octopath is great, but pales in comparison to the Yakuza series. They're not even in the same universe. Yakuza has me laughing and crying and screaming and biting my nails.

X-com to me is an absolute snooze-fest bought it once, tried it, returned it under steams 2hour-rule.

That's fair. Turn-based strategy is my favorite genre. 4x strategy is great in Civ, but rarely anywhere else.
I swear, I thought Yakuza was a GTA ripoff like Saint's Row. I will definitely check it out though

If you like x-com and octopath, then you'd love Triangle Strategy. Most uninspired name ever, but it's the perfect mix of those two game WITH a great story. And it's super challenging! AND IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!! Like living in a toy-land!

Noooo definitely not! It has lovable characters, insane over-the-top bombastic story-telling, it has minigames within minigames and an entire sub-section of one game where you aspire to be a J-Pop star and all regular battles are replaced with dance-offs!

Also, Kiryu has the voice of an angel!

I agree with everything you said. I thought it was the worst name ever. The whole marketing dept should've been fired. Or caned. Or flogged. Whichever they would've liked better
