I also like the beer bad episode … but I’m in the minority.

I love "Beer Bad." I really love that the government was giving grants to TV shows for "very special" episodes that underage and binge-drinking was bad for teenagers. Buffy shot that episode specifically for that, and then submitted it for the grant money. The government's response? "No! That is totally not what we meant!"

Despite being kind of isolated in rural ish America I'm frequently reminded why I decided to stay here. I just went on a lovely 30min hike up a mountain with no other human around which was only 5min from where I live.

Despite being kind of isolated in rural ish America I'm frequently reminded why I decided to stay here. I just went on a lovely 30min hike up a mountain with no other human around which was only 5min from where I live.

That is why I stay here. Next to a nice small city, with small mountains and forests all around, a couple of mountains for serious hiking (I don't climb, but many do) within an hour's drive, and the ocean the same distance away. And I am at the mouth of the Columbia Gorge, which has some amazing hiking as well.

I move away, but always come back.
