Wat's Guns-N-Stuff Thread

Lotta big talk from Lit's geriatric ammosexuals today.

Maybe some lime jello at their nursing home will settle them down.

Let's run some numbers.

There are approx. 50,000 sworn Federal Agents. This includes a goodly number that would be worthless for use in a gun confiscation scenario, The National Park Service, National Forest Service, National Game and Fish commission, DOE pro-force, IRS dweebs, etc. A significant number of agents are going to swing over to the gun owners side, Border Patrol, Sky Marshals, and DEA. 90% of the nations sheriffs and their deputies will support the gun owners. The survey has been done and the military will breakdown to 33% will join the gun owners and 33% will just stand down and not participate. The Navy and Air Force will be useless so that leaves damn few military to participate.

The big city police want to go home to their wives and families to so expect a goodly number of them to just walk away. They already have their hands full with the criminals they have to deal with.

Gun owners and enthusiastic shooters are designing nuclear weapons and all sorts of other clever little devices. Gun owners own AI companies and companies that build space ships and space ships are just ICBM's with a different sort of payload bolted on top.

30 million gun owners with trillions of rounds of ammunition.

The gun owners are the people that make this country work. They are the plumbers, carpenters, electricians, welders, the people that maintain the power grid and the pipelines, that plant and harvest the crops.

So go ahead and try to confiscate the guns, you will die of starvation in darkness.

The first mistake everyone makes is believing that law enforcement won't obey orders. They will, even up to and including murdering innocents. Anyone who knows anything about Ruby Ridge and Waco will understand that.

But even at that, 50,000 is no match for 500 million very pissed off gun owners, many of whom are highly skilled with their weaponry. The NG will be deployed when things heat up, but that's still not going to help when you cannot tell the difference between the bad guys and your family members and neighbors.

There will not be any "safe zones" for anyone who wears a uniform and complies or participates with gun seizure orders. To be sure, these people will comply and participate, it just isn't going to go the way they think it will. Or the way the "survey takers" think it will.

I wonder what the bounty is going to be?

Where are the 500m pissed off gun owners?

The entire population of the US is <350m of which 260m are adults, of which 32% claim to own firearms, so maybe 83m gun owners, of whom many support some form of gun control.

So being generous here, if 50m were actually ‘pissed off’ you are only exaggerating your numbers by 1000%.

🤣

Make up some more shit, counselor. 👍

Of course there's going to be thousands that will follow the orders. Some because they're true believers, some will see it as a path to promotion, some because they're just too damn stupid to understand what they're getting into.

You think this is only going to affect the gun owners in the US?

Lol, what a moron you turned out to be.

I have theorized that if the SHTF, the rank and file street cops are first in line because they're visible.

I saw a billboard about this:

ONLY THE LAW BREAKING — NOT THE LAW ABIDING — SHOULD BE LOOKING OVER THEIR SHOULDER IN FEAR. CEASEFIRE VIRGINIA WILL WORK TO KEEP VIOLENT, REPEAT OFFENDERS BEHIND BARS, PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITIES AND KEEPING OUR FAMILIES SAFE.

~ Attorney General Jason Miyares

In response to the urgent need for reducing gun violence and addressing the pressing issue of violent crime in Virginia, the Ceasefire Virginia initiative has been developed. Spearheaded by Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, this initiative brings together a unified effort from government officials, law enforcement, and community leaders to reduce violent crime and protect our communities. The initiative focuses on reducing the illegal use of guns to commit crimes through a comprehensive approach that combines prosecution and community intervention, with a specific emphasis on targeting serious repeat offenders in Virginia’s highest crime areas.

Recognizing the significance of this issue, Virginia’s General Assembly has allocated an initial $5 million toward the Ceasefire Virginia initiative. This investment enables Virginia to strengthen its capabilities in tackling violence, supported by the appointment of cross-designated assistant attorneys general and coordinators.

Ceasefire Virginia employs a strategic approach, targeting the reoffending violent offenders in our community who are responsible for the majority of our violent crimes. Valuable intelligence is received from various sources, including the public, law enforcement agencies, criminologists, and expert analysts.

They did something like this 20+ years ago called Project Exile. Basically, it was where prohibited persons got a fiver in Club Fed somewhere across the country. Allegedly, it worked at least somewhat. I noted that this got about $5M. I wonder if Exile got a dole which ran out, and I wonder how long this program will last.

Lol, what a moron you turned out to be.

Since your post was in answer to: “There are approx. 50,000 sworn Federal Agents” I assumed you were referring to Americans. No?

Not following the conversation? Or were you thinking Chobham was suggesting all those American agents would be going out globally to gather guns from around the world?

What form of dumbfuck paranoia are you peddling?

Dude, addled brain Trump is smarter than you, of course I bet Trump’s rant about the shark and the batteries made perfect sense to you.

Yeah, the 'enhanced' sentencing for crimes committed with firearms. Many states enacted such laws as did the Fed's.

BUT

What happened was that DA's and federal prosecutors were dropping the firearm sentencing in return for guilty pleas on other charges as part of 'deals.' When Barr was AG he stopped that on the federal level, but they've since slipped back to their old and lazy ways.
