Glad you didn't have worse. I still have the steady wind out my window. I can hear it blowing through the trees.Just a ton of rain. I think 10 inches. A lot of down trees limbs.

Lucky I was not your neighbor.I had an older neighbor come and tell me that he loved my big boobs bouncing around when I mowed and that he watched me every time
Then the crazy lady next door who thought I was trying to poison her with well water from my sprinklers
I didn't go out much after the two of them.
Yep. I can't wait for you all to seeThat’s awesome. Glad that you made a great decision and are happy with the results!!
Good lord a stationwagon !
Good times.I'm getting the idea that all of us are lucky you're not our neighbor. (Ignore).
I do too but I have been sick and can't do it right nowI love yard work when it's not to hot. I used to have a beautiful yard until crazy neighbors. I get it from my mom.
Really soothing too. My optician gave me what feels like a bean bag but mask shaped. Thirty seconds in the microwave, and used occasionally at the end of the day when the eyes are tired. Has me asleep every time.....lovelyThe damp warm compress on your eyes will help with the eyes ducts. As people age the oils solidify so the warm compress helps keep the ducts functioning. Usually creates a blurry vision if the oils solidify...
Great news after all your angst!Lqndscaper did a great job.... will post pics tomorrow after he mulches...... best money I have ever spent
Good night RJ!Bed time for me 1:00 am, see you in about 6 or 7 hours...
Oh, G! What have you done to yourself now? Come over here and let me look at your legs. (Snaps on gloves)Missed you too @Lilianna23. I do need a nurse to look at these bites on my leg....don’t think they are infected but.... May I get you a drink....I can even stretch to champagne!
Sounds like a rodeo! We got the order correct, I think. THat Damned Kitten is sitting here watching me type. Ethyl is holding down the fort Back East. Fred is kind of grumpy because I'm rooming in her room, and so is TDK. The other kittens are good, the baby goats are awfully damned cute, the chickens are good, the horses are pleasant as always. Wat has to go back East tomorrow.
We were coming home on Saturday night and it was cattle throw-down night. The neighbor had 5 cows get out. THey're Angus cattle, so it takes some paying attention to see them. So there's that but of excitement. It makes Life Away From Town entertaining.
The wall story??? I bet it's a good one!Ooohhh..tell her the wall story......
I did read about W doing this!I made it through but for the most thing they behaved except for people falling down into ditches and creeks and hurting their backs...... then reinforcing by cutting up logs with a chain saw..... Can't keep a good man down....
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!Awww! I love this, OM!![]()
Did you get your shelves built, Wat? I bet they're hurricane, tornado, and earthquake proof!Happy Monday!!! Day Last here Out West. Tomorrow is Drive Day. Today is build some shelves day, and probably load the damned things. I salvaged some cabinets several years ago and used them for years Back East, and then took them down and moved them Out West and reinstalled them. After a few months, the sumbitches fell apart and off the wall, damn them. So I'm making replacements, and they are going to be Weapons Grade.
On forgiveness: it's not important that you forgive me. If you do, that's a bonus. But it is absolutely crucial for my life, my soul and my sanity that I forgive you. I will never be settled if I don't.
Um... this cow? Itfollowed me home! Our job was to avoid hitting them in the road and to call the neighbors. Their cows, their issue.
I did feel kinda sorry for the two large calves that seemed to be genuinely scared.
Is it still rustling if you find them out in the road???
This IS profound, K! And really resonates with me! Thank you!Heard something the other day that helps me to forgive people that have really hurt me badly
"Dont expect other people to be you"
It was pretty profound.....
Our first generator had to be hooked up to the transfer switch then started like an old lawnmower with a rip cord. The transfer switch had to be manually turned to turn off the main power and use the generator. How are our Fla residents holding out? Stay safe y’all! Looks like we get the remnants by 9pm tonight. Got my gen fired up yesterday and all is well here. Got my moms fired up also. The only problem?
My dad had an electrician put in a generator feed to the breaker box for a back feed cord (suicide cord as it’s known) and left me instructions of how to hook it up.
Not actually having done it myself, I go to the source of all knowledge…U-Tooooob. If find out that my dad and his electrician buddy….well, they may have “skipped” a safety feature ( lock out kit) and I’m not exactly feeling the luv of using this thing especially with my 81 yr old mother alone and me heading back to work. So looking for an electrician to bless it or maybe redo it with a safer hookup…possibly even a new main breaker box as this one is well over 50 yrs old.
Anyone got a # for a good electrician?.
So, here is some stormy Morning Z!
