Oh my. That is difficult. I understand there is no easy answer to that situation. Usually it happens when something is bothering me and my mind will not relax.Unfortunately mine is after 4-5 hours. I like to get up when I first open my eyes.
I am about the same. Too long and head and back ache.I’m not good at sleeping in after I get 7 hours of sleep. I have to get up.
Safe r the travels and good luck!! 95 stinks thru there.3;45 here. Gonna sleep for a bit. Have to be in Philadelphia at 9 am...![]()
Sorry you have trouble sleeping. I think a bunch of us do.I fell asleep almost immediately. So I had fun getting a good solid 4 and half hours of sleep![]()
I actually do a lot of this. I have a crippling arthritis which is why I'm on infusions. If I'm in one position too long or move around too much, I wake up. If I can get 5 hours, it's like 8 for everyone else. I am working on it though. I don't give up easilySorry you have trouble sleeping. I think a bunch of us do.
I started a thread a few yo, and got some good advice for sleeping better. Best advice I got: go to the bathroom whether you need to or not. And don’t look at the clock.
Also reprogram your anxious thoughts into something positive. A good challenge or a pleasant experience.
Can’t say I’m a model sleeper, but def better now.

Anything is worth it when you can’t sleep and you need it.In a podcast I heard to use something like a mantra (poem, song, prayer, wise saying etc.) to clear your thoughts. It’s worth a try when you are trying to get more sleep.
That’s good. I find good sleep health to be critical. I typically get 5-6hrs which seems to be enough for me.I actually do a lot of this. I have a crippling arthritis which is why I'm on infusions. I made it through but for the most thing they behaved except for people falling down into ditches and creeks and hurting their backs...... then reinforcing by cutting up logs with a chain saw..... Can't keep a good man down....Hey, girl! How are you doing? Sorry I left you to do all the healthcare heavy lifting for a while!![]()
Morning Wat..... I started working and 20 min in took a break!!
Gonna be a lazy Monday
that the landscaper shows up. .......
Yikes, you had nothing but misadventures this week. Getting cows back into their enclosures can be pretty damn tricky. We got the order correct, I think. THat Damned Kitten is sitting here watching me type. Ethyl is holding down the fort Back East. Fred is kind of grumpy because I'm rooming in her room, and so is TDK. The other kittens are good, the baby goats are awfully damned cute, the chickens are good, the horses are pleasant as always. Wat has to go back East tomorrow.
We were coming home on Saturday night and it was cattle throw-down night. The neighbor had 5 cows get out. THey're Angus cattle, so it takes some paying attention to see them. So there's that but of excitement. It makes Life Away From Town entertaining.

Heard something the other day that helps me to forgive people that have really hurt me badlyHappy Monday!!! Day Last here Out West. Tomorrow is Drive Day. Today is build some shelves day, and probably load the damned things. I salvaged some cabinets several years ago and used them for years Back East, and then took them down and moved them Out West and reinstalled them. After a few months, the sumbitches fell apart and off the wall, damn them. So I'm making replacements, and they are going to be Weapons Grade.
On forgiveness: it's not important that you forgive me. If you do, that's a bonus. But it is absolutely crucial for my life, my soul and my sanity that I forgive you. I will never be settled if I don't.
Goats are opportunists..... they have an opportunity to eat it they will...hahahaMornin', Dear. I hope that all goes as planned.
The old tractor is parked in the barnyard. There is some grass residue on the Bush hog. Yesterday, the goats were on the hog eating grass clippings. The horses prefer the clippings tossed over the fence from the rental house and ignore their own. Good for the goats.
Are they branded??? Just kidding...unless its a mini highland..... then totally not kidding and I know of a place to stash it away.....Our job was to avoid hitting them in the road and to call the neighbors. Their cows, their issue.
I did feel kinda sorry for the two large calves that seemed to be genuinely scared.
Is it still rustling if you find them out in the road???
