Sex & Shenanigans

Lmao no … I’m reading Stephen king

But these are also thoughts I think often.
My favorite King non fiction was an essay he wrote to journalism students. He reasoned why the public at large was so fascinated by horror and the macabre was due to a primal animal instinct society forces us to keep sequestered. At a very young age we learn we cannot smash our little brother's head into the rocks because he annoys us so we turn to fantasy where we can torture our annoyances without permanent consequences. King likened these base impulses to a monster we keep chained in our personal dungeons that must be fed periodically to maintain our good standing in society.

His book On Writing is outstanding, which is funny, because he is a great storyteller but at best an okay writer.

I have a @crazychemgirl style question for you all...

Lets say you meet someone and spend a few hours talking to them, and they just totally "pushed all your buttons"... you want them, bad.

What percentage do you think of that "OMG I need this person, now!!!" feeling is based on what they look like?

I am thinking maybe 15%

Since the likelihood of our genitals ever making personal acquaintance is slim to nil, wouldn't knowing the mind ... literally the only organ we are likely to intercourse with...be of primary importance?

I didn't specify if you had or had not seen their genitals... if that matters to you, assume you had seen them.

Ok ok I'll show you my genitals

It wasn't my point lolol my point is since I'm talking to your mind what use are your looks?
Wait.... you are the voice in my head???? What the hell was the point of telling me to go talk to that girl in junior high with the red hair? She turned out to be a total twat-head! What a waste of time! All these years later, I still wonder why the voice in my head suggested I go talk to that dork.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

...the point of the question was just that I was curious how many people were more attracted to physical attributes vs personality, or some other non-physical traits (like being the voice talking in their head, I guess).

FIFY

[Insert awful-yet-obligatory pun about them having undeniable chemistry here]

Today is great.
Wtf is wrong with everyone?

Right?? It’s amazing day today! I’m alive, I’m healthy, I have good friends and family around me, plus freshly brewed coffee…I mean come on 😍

I'm having a pretty good morning... Seems I'm in the minority.
I hope everyone's day gets less miserable!
Today is okay. Yesterday fucking sucked though (I know, not for @Whiskeyjack 😜)
