My great grandfather married my great grandmother when she was 13 and he was 20. It is so hard to wrap my brain around that. They did wait to have kids when she was 18, not that it makes that much of a difference tbh.

I think it’s pronounced Shraugh with the “-raugh” being silent on odd numbered days and sounding like “-out” on even ones and holidays.
