I wonder how much are (music, painting, movies, tv) that exists where people involved are horrible people … and we don’t know.

As I said before, I have no problem with the concept of enjoying previously-purchased stuff or buying the newer stuff used. (They are less enjoyable to me now, but that’s not the point.) What I do have a problem with is horrible people like JKR profiting off my decisions, and it’s entirely avoidable. She has more money than the English crown anyway, she doesn’t need me to support her.

Counterpoint: Fuck ‘em. It’s a big world, there’s more than enough other things out there to entertain me. Not like I’m dying to buy an Eric Clapton album in 2024 anyway. Hitchcock died before I was born, so he’s not profiting off of me.

I bought Aerosmith albums, concert tix and a couple t-shirts in the late-1990s and mid-2000s. It’s not something I’m doing in 2024.

Probably a lot, but for me, I think once I know better, I should do better. I’m not perfect either, but I can keep trying to be better.
 
Okay, this is no joke, though, it may be funny to some.

I'm having coffee this morning and was thinking, yo I wanna post up a coffee Pic on Lit. Yea for real, not a dick pic.

So I break out the oracle- Google to all you non believers, and do my search and check out a few candidates. Amazing how many pics of coffee have coffee beans thrown into it for some sort of aesthetic.

I get to this one Pic, tap it's source and this bot pops up on my phone, demanding I do some dumb shit there to prove that I am not a robot before I can proceed to look at their fucking picture.

A bot demanding that I prove that I am not a robot. Da fuq?

I should stick with dick pics. It's safer.

It’s not about having thought it or said it, it’s about being able to hear the criticism and work to change behavior. People who do that are fine in my book. People who double down are not.
