Sex & Shenanigans

It’s the perfect mocking of colonialist behavior
It's such a strange thing!! As far as I know, Laos was the last country to be colonized... Siam rule from the 1700s, then we were under french rule from 1893, gained independence during WW2 cause france was busy with.. something. Then after WW2 we were re-colonized! By France! Imagine that. The freaking 1950s and some twirly moustached villain comes in and says we belong to them. Thankfully we got a taste of freedom and gained true independence again in 1953. (then the war started in 55. it's been a ride)

And we made sure we had a flag, then 🥰

See? You learn the rules. "Quick, to a seamstress!"

I
My step-dad loves fried catfish. Fried is tolerable, but really when it comes to fish, Salmon and Tuna are my limits
I generally agree but then I went to Turks and Caicos and had nothing but food ar local restaurants and most were seafood places. I’ve never had so much good food. The carribbean folks also know how to make an excellent fish dish

In old movies where it’s colonizer versus indigenous people’s, I’m always cheering for the indigenous, even in old American Westerns.

Western Europeans, trying to reassert colonial possessions, after they hated being Germany׳s colonial possession, is always startling to me.
