Sex & Shenanigans

@Nicefella you know I have a chemistry degree, right,…?

I feel like the nerd card is built into the paperwork
I have a friend who was originally hired as a manager at the last company I worked for. She was very geeky, had strong geek cred. During her interview, she said she would be the geekiest person in the room. My manager at the time, thinking back on his team, looked at her and said, "You aren't even going to make the top five."

Also I’m older than the hills, only missing MySpace

Done all - still do some.

My house has many real maps with 2 on the walls.

I still send postcards - usually to my brother to tell him to bring lard to the orgy etc.

I have a very special encyclopedia that I won on a TV quiz show called blockbusters.

Try working in a library. If you aren't a nerd, what are you even doing there?

I used a fax last week. We still have one kicking around at work.
I worked for a domain registrar. I had an older woman who was having some problems with a renewal, and we went back and forth, so I gave her my email address and told her to send me a screenshot of her error.

Four days later, I got a letter with three beautiful photographs of the error, and a lovely letter written out in longhand on what her problems were. That was about fifteen years ago. I still have them on my desk.
