Can I lay with you? … I don’t wanna adult today.
And you didn’t invite me?No joke, I took a 20 minute nap this morning.
I did a tech writing job in Seattle. It was cheaper to pay me to drive up from Portland, stay in a hotel for three days a week, and work from home the other two than to pay what someone who lived there would require.I had an offer for a job in Seattle and they said I could name my pay, but when I did they said there's no way they could do it. I told them that it was only because of housing because I'd need to buy a $1M home to fit my massive family. Nothing fancy, just comparable. Clearly, I'm not in Seattle now.![]()
We all knew that. Just wasn’t sure if the language had evolved. No, silly. "lunch" is
And you didn’t invite me?
Rude.
Copy CCG that all paid for - I can afford the rest!I think I’m going for:
Groceries
Housekeeping
Travel
Shouldn't you get the house before the housekeeping?I think I’m going for:
Groceries
Housekeeping
Travel
I'm gonna go for the most expensive things then pay for the rest myself.
Always! I don’t wanna eitherCan I lay with you? … I don’t wanna adult today.
Assuming travel includes lodging (and therefore housekeeping), I’d take travel, groceries and clothes. Travel year-round, use local transportation so gas would only be needed for occasional rental cars, which would fall under the “travel” umbrella for long distances. No rent needed, except maybe a storage unit to store some stuff while traveling. Could get clothes as needed for whichever season/region/climate I’m traveling through at the time.
Exactly. I am very fortunate to have a good paying job in the "Rust Belt." I don't know how my fellow Buckeyes make ends meet though. Median income here is LOW.I did a tech writing job in Seattle.
