Okay... I was going through a very hard time in my life, and found myself hanging out in the old Chaos thread. There were a group of women there, Nebs, Sin, Justa and others who kind of took me in and I found a home. Through lots of joking in the thread, and lots of conversations in the background, a whole ton of people helped me through the toughest time in my life. I think it might have been when Sin passed away, it changed. The regulars just kind of backed away and the whole feel of the placed changed. And I was kind of lost.

I found @Mrtenant 's thread, which was fairly active at the time, and certainly a fun theme for me (I never drank coffee, won't drink coffee, and the chaos thread turned into a monument to the wonders of coffee). :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

And then one day, the clouds disappeared, the sun came out, and I think I followed someone over here. And suddenly, I felt like I had found my friends again. So many people I had seen in various threads and in Chaos, and there was the crazy lady with the spoon on her nose again!!! OMG!!! I really don't have the words to describe how much that meant to me... and I posted a few of my silly jokes, and people seemed to accept me (or remember me??) I don't really know... but it has just been wonderful being here with you all, and enjoying the new people coming in, and "getting it"... because, lets face it... this is not a clique (or whatever), but there is a vibe here that not everyone gets. Maybe that's just @crazychemgirl holding court. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I'm not mentioning many names here, and that is totally on purpose. So many of you are important to me, it would be a long list - and when I realized that I left someone off the list? That just tears at my soul so I'd rather not set myself up for feeling worse... this has been a very rough day for me already.

Just let me say - I truly love you all and thank you for being my friends. 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥰🥰🥰
