The first term Trump bumbled and struggled. This time he had the backing of over 100 conservative organizations and Koch Bros money to join him in this cause. He’ll appoint folks that will just do his bidding. He had his conservative SCOTUS from the start.

Scares the Hell out of me especially after Biden’s train wreck debate. Biden sounds much better in the days since. But is there enough time with just one debate left. He didn’t hardly guard, turn, parry, dodge, spin or thrust against any of Trump’s misstatements.

I don’t think switching the ticket is the answer either. Kamala polls much worse than Biden against Trump. Biden at least has something to run on. Kamala had an impossible assignment in the border crisis. And has had a poor relationship with her team. You just don’t change horses midstream.

The thing I have about using project 2025 as a campaigning focus is that it's difficult to explain it to non political people. Being hyperbolic turns people off. Explaining that it isn't actually a Trump campaign initiative muddies the waters even of you say "these people are likely going to be in Trump's administration"

I think an endorsement from the President would easily transition the race to Harris.

I can't see him surviving four years and would prefer the bridge candidate do what he said he was going to.

I also know that the D’s have a stated platform to deliver at their convention and that it includes respecting a woman’s right to choose and that Biden has a long and credible list of accomplishments. Old corporate people clinging to power tend to get caught in a rut. Dems should be headed toward a landslide victory against the fascistic MAGAts, and yet they keep finding a way to keep it a close race.
