Actually, I’m going to stick with #FuckCancer, and add a “fuck the American healthcare industry,” particularly the pervasive idea that health insurance should be tied to employment. Shannon Doherty wasn’t insured because she was too sick to work toward the end and didn’t meet SAG requirements for health insurance benefits.

It started before that I think? I could be wrong but I thought it was when she has her recurrence?
But yes.
I am thankful that we have access to drugs that other countries haven’t approved yet because of cost - and younger screening ages - but the lack of comprehensive coverage is frustrating and she (we all) deserve better. Way better.
 
As I mentioned in another thread, it’s a blessing and a curse being this tasty 😋

I have at least 14 mosquito bites on my body. Most are small bites on my left hand and 2 that form a massively swollen bump that looks like I have an extra elbow on my forearm. My arm and hand felt like my nerve endings were on fire yesterday! 😫 Antihistamines, ibuprofen, hydrocortisone and an ice pack seem to have helped though!

Incidentally, if anyone is in need of an easy ice pack hack for injuries, fever or just beating the heat:
1 part rubbing alcohol
3 parts water
Ziploc freezer bag (or two, just in case of leak)
