Sex & Shenanigans

It truly is one for the ages. They say there's no bad art, but those mofo's never listened to Yoko in her younger years. I still don't get her, but while she hasn't gotten better with age she has at least become self-aware.

The Simpsons ripped on her, having her at Moe's bar ordering "a single plum, floating in perfume, served in a man’s hat".
Years later she actually created that piece and put it on display at her exhibit!

The woman's a complete maniac. I love her. I hate her. I love her.
I loved her on Mad About You. She told Paul, a filmmaker, she wanted him to film "the wind." He spends the whole time stressing over it and finally confesses to her that he doesn't know how to do what she wants. Her response? "It was just an idea. No big deal."

They also have a whole scene with Paul and Jamie trying to have a conversation with Yoko where Paul keeps bringing up her breaking up the Beatles. Shows she has a sense of humor. Well, now she does, at least.

This really brings American Beauty to mind! I wonder what the filmmaker would have settled on, had she pushed...

Yeah, she grew into herself. It just took a while!
