She’s already going to anger management to deal with her rage
My ex was an L&D nurse for years. This is a regular discussion among nurses. They have a term for it: UBS. Ugly Baby Syndrome.
Oh, I have nothing to add to this converation.Terrible British accent impressions
The worst is when I send audios to people on here cause I'm talking to myself... Every sentence has a few "like" and "um"s. I say "dude" and "totally" regularly. So…remember how in Saved by the Bell, they went to Bayside High and their rival was Valley High? I’m basically Bayside. I occasionally slip into surfer girl speak, especially when I’m very sleepy or excited. The work “like” creeps into my sentences way more than necessary, as does “totally,” which can also be a complete sentence in itself. Contrary to 80s stereotypes, no one has unironically used “gnarly” or “tubular” since 1988. NO ONE is immune from being called “dude.” Friends, romantic partners, children, pets, even my own mother.
Pro tip for non-Angelenos though: One thing that should never, EVER be done is call a beach person a valley girl. Especially if you value your life and/or dangly bits

It is my least favorite thing to be watching a British actor come on screen and our bland accent comes our of their mouth.Which is odd, because I think it's a lot more common for Americans to butcher British accents than for Brits to butcher American ones.

There are two in the greater LA area…the one they referenced (Glendale) was the other Galleria to me. I grew up near the South Bay GalleriaWe avoided the valley like the plague
When it's done well it's a delight. Kate Winslet nailing the eastern Pennsylvania accent in "Mare of Easttown" was superb. But I have no idea what accent Dan Stevens was going for. It was mush.It is my least favorite thing to be watching a British actor come on screen and our bland accent comes our of their mouth.

Although, on the flip side, my wife made us watch "Abigail" a few weeks ago, and while I adore Dan Stevens, his American accent was absolutely horrible. Which is odd, because I think it's a lot more common for Americans to butcher British accents than for Brits to butcher American ones.
The worst thing for me was when the actor who plays Daredevil on the Netflix series made a cameo on She Hulk and slipped back into his British accent twice, even though his Daredevil character is supposed to be from Hell’s Kitchen, New York. It was so distracting and totally took me out of it. I mean…granted, the show was fucking terrible anyway and a consistent New Yorker accent wouldn’t have saved it, but stillIt is my least favorite thing to be watching a British actor come on screen and our bland accent comes our of their mouth.
Story of my life
Like, “like” is totally like my favorite word. And I have no shame about it. Gnarly is always used ironically and always said in a Spicoli voice. So…remember how in Saved by the Bell, they went to Bayside High and their rival was Valley High? I’m basically Bayside. Well, I think that is required. It's probably a law somewhere....and always said in a Spicoli voice.

Kate Winslett could do any accent and I'd just be happy to see her on-screen.When it's done well it's a delight. Kate Winslet nailing the eastern Pennsylvania accent in "Mare of Easttown" was superb. But I have no idea what accent Dan Stevens was going for. It was mush.
He is Irish irl I think... (nope. I was wrong)or he was on Boardwalk Empire. I enjoyed She Hulk: Attorney at Law, but I have been a fan of the comics for a long time.Kate Winslett could do any accent and I'd just be happy to see her on-screen.
I will have to check out Abigail. He did a good job on Legion

Is that where the mini golf is? I try to not go north of UCLA if I can but I did go to the mini golf in Sherman oaks a few times.https://media1.giphy.com/media/SVgKToBLI6S6DUye1Y/giphy.gif?cid=9b38fe91vgp6ydloi8yaif60sp49avph39h2b9u6ld2lbu88&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g
The song is referencing the Sherman Oaks Galleria. Which was prominently displayed in Commando and was torn down and redeveloped in the 90’s.

Ever? So the people in England are faking it?British accents. Never heard a convincing one.
One of my favorite lines from the novel Jurassic Park was one of the characters thinking that Paris was a theme park with very rude, angry employees.Yes. It’s all for show. England is one big resort. Sort of like Truman Show.
Yeah it’s just across the 101 from the Castle. It’s not very exciting. Is that where the mini golf is? I try to not go north of UCLA if I can but I did go to the mini golf in Sherman oaks a few times.
I suppose that depends on how you play.Yeah it’s just across the 101 from the Castle. It’s not very exciting.
Nah, mini golf rules. I meant the mall. Vacant office space and some chain restaurants and a movie theater and gym are a far cry from its heydayI suppose that depends on how you play.
