I recently found out that there has been an explosion in the number of people buying VHS tapes of movies. It seems to be the trendy, Hipster thing to do. I don’t understand this very much, although I get that the box art and nostalgia of VHS is cool, the quality is total dog dick.

At least the people who collect Vinyl have an argument that the sound quality is unique, but VHS? Yeah, it’s unique, so is seeing art through severe cataracts.

This made me wonder, what else do people want to relive, or experience for the first time? Does anyone collect old porno magazines that multiple guys/girls have spooged over?

You know, I just went on a vacation with a buddy of mine and he bought a disposable camera. I asked why and he said it’s a huge trend right now. He’s like ten years younger than me and he’s into all that social media stuff. It made me laugh to think someone would want that kind of quality.

1. I feel like I’d be slow to enjoy a magazine. Honestly, I was never much of a magazine user. I was a VHS, then internet, then DVD, then internet again porn user. Magazines don’t do it for me.

3. I do not. I’m just a practical sex toy user. I do have a decent amount of sex furniture, though.

4. I have been to the Museum of Sex in NYC and the Penis museum in Reykjavik.

5. Yes. I could. But would I? No. It’s like asking if I could skateboard up to the McDonalds like I did when I was 16. Could I? Yes. With a lot more heavy breathing. But now I have a car and I can ride up there in the comfort of my vehicle whilst listening to music.

Thatcwould be a resounding no. The porn mags I did see scared the crap out of me. My brothers were fond of a magazine called "Swank". Tasteful Playboy, it was not. It was pretty hardcore, and I could not imagine ever wanting to do anything in those pages. I can say now, looking back, that it definitely contributed to my general suspicion of men.

Yes, absolutely. I think the history of sex and how attitudes have changed, and toys have developed, is fascinating. I went to one in Vegas, though upon perusal of the premises, I think call itself a museum was rather generous.

Side note: I got my 2nd child's name from a special on the History Channel about greco-roman sexuality and how it impacts us today, that I watched while I was in labor. One of the researchers had the unique name and I loved it.

Yes, though not a porn pic. I prefer the bespoke variety. Porn doesn't do it for me. I'm not the audience they're targeting.
