Midwest scotch is butterscotch, because everything is butter based here.

They will pair very well with a bourbon that has a strong vanilla and caramel profile.

When I was in high school I worked nights at a gas station. We had this sweet Russian babushka who would come and buy smokes every night. On night she brought me "a nice piece of cake," a piece of sheet cake she had made for her family.

There was so much alcohol in it, it made my eyes water.

She was my favorite customer.
