No, but I read an article on the sequencing they did on cat genes that produces a new color they call salmiak. It’s only the third color for cats.

Did you know that it's cat saliva that we're allergic to, not their fur? Because they groom so obsessively we thought it was dander that triggered the allergies, and that was kinda right... But it was the saliva soaked dander that really does the trick.

I've judged the science fair in my county for years and the level of novel science coming out is truly impressive. Honestly just seeing so many kids excited about science is pretty spectacular. 🧪🔬👩‍🔬👨‍🔬🥼🔭

I did! But not the part about the high schooler who made the discovery. That is fantastic.
