I have a thing for concept albums. It's one thing to put together a great album where every song shares a genre, but to create a coherent theme for every song takes some serious dedication.

Maiden's Somewhere In Time is some of their best work, only trumped (in my opinion) by Dance of Death.

Those are some controversial opinions, but I'll not stir that pot because I haven't listened to Somewhere in Time in it's entirety, as recorded. I do have Dance of Death and agree that it was well put together.

Luv this so much! (My third favourite musician of all time.)
A brilliant song choice! This only becomes more and more true with the passage of time.
Very sad from a social standpoint... but invigorating from an artistic point of view.
