Funny thing: I hated, HATED, reading the required books in high school, but would read fantasy, sci fi, noir/hard-boiled, action/adventure on my free time LOL Our son has read my Poe anthology, plus all the Indiana Jones books, now only reads car and video game books LOL

One the one hand, it has taken a large chunk of the strategy out of the game.

On the other hand, it's a huge boon for pitcher safety and tends to produce more offense per game. Which is undoubtedly exciting.

Overall I think it was probably the best choice available, but it will ALWAYS feel wrong to me. This must be what getting old feels like. LOL.
