Sex & Shenanigans

My friend… I spent the first half of my life living in Portland. Almost every, single holiday, had rain. Memorial day, Labor day, whatever. My family is hardy stock - we had picnics at cool parks, and almost every single one was rained out. We would end up, huddled under the shelter at some cool park… surrounded by beautiful views, lots of rain, and all our family… and it was…. Glorious. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Oh yes, I know that well. My mother was a firm believer that there wasn't bad weather, you just changed how you dressed.

You just flooded me with memories. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

My uncle was only 6 years older than me. And as a kid, he was an amazing athlete. Back then, in the early 70’s, there was some grade school I think was on Lombard street somewhere. You would drive through this little gate, and back behind the school, and there were several baseball diamonds back there. Beautiful green grass, wonderful trees… I really don’t care about baseball, but sitting in the bleachers, back there, while my uncle played baseball… wonderful memories for me. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Years later, a neighborhood friend invited me to go with him to watch a Portland Beavers game. Again, I loved it. But not because of baseball exactly, but the camaraderie and friendship in the stands. So many years later, I wish I could tell those people how much I appreciated being invited, and how much I enjoyed those experiences… but alas, I cannot.

But I can thank you, for reminding me of wonderful memories and feelings from long ago. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤣
I understand all of that. I am not a baseball guy. Played it in the neighborhood, but that was it. Not my game. But my kid loved it, played little league, eventually moved to softball (she didn't like the drama of all those girls together. She was lucky for three and a half out of four years-her senior year she did shot put and discus instead.) And my ex was a big baseball fan, so we ended up at the ballpark a lot. I didn't really care for the game, but sitting in the sun, having a couple beers and maybe a hot dog (or pulled pork on kettle chips...so good!), surrounded by passionate people who were all having a great time was wonderful. Spending time with my family was wonderful. Bonding with some of the people we sat around with a lot was wonderful. The game was way down on the list.

Well, it was an outer space shark. So it was pretty big.
So did the shark cook from the inside and then rupture to expose everything to the vacuum, ejecting its cooked innards (wizard included) or was the wizard simply able to see the living cavern they were in for a short flash of time?

Ejected cooked innards? Oh Wolfie! I think you are trying to gross us out!

Successfully, I might add… 🤣🤣🤣

Well, apparently, in d&d space is NOT a vacuum, so the wizard cooked the shark's innards, barely survived the blast herself, and then vortexed back to our vessel. After which, the severely wounded, nearly dead space shark was beaten to death with a toilet plunger.
