Sex & Shenanigans

I totally misread this and thought is was. $200 fine for losing 8 kids. Seemed fair.
Average children's book runs between $14.99-19.99. Plus most libraries have added charges for processing fees (this includes baroness, security straps and book covers). So still a bit pricey, but not overly so.

Thankfully, if and when they are found, the cost will likely be waived. Most libraries would rather have their books back than charge you.

Here's an idea for all you family heirloom book lovers that want to declutter... Make a list of books for your kids instead of keeping physical books.

The only books I've kept so far are books I read for school and loved that have my votes on them. And a few kid books that grandparents wrote messages to the kids on.

But I do have a mental list of books Ive loved that I want my kids to read. I need to make it an actual list that I can give them, maybe I'll write a few lines about why I think they should read each book

As someone who spent the day packing and hauling over 100+ boxes of books, moving boxes of books succcccks.

(Branch library is getting remodeled, so have to empty the shelves. Finally done after 2 weeks and 600-some boxes later)

My husband was in the military so the last handful of moves we’ve done (and all the ones since having kids) have been with professional packers/movers. I’m not sure I can ever pack myself again. I’ve been too spoiled.
Sure, they broke a few things. But still… worth it.
By worth it I mean someone else paid for it and that was very worth it to me 😂
We got one quote for over $30,000 to pack and move us.

Fortunately a huge outlier, but obviously someone pays it.
