KMarry me
Divorced.Marry me
I've moved 13 times in the last 15 years. I feel like a pro at this pointMy husband was in the military so the last handful of moves we’ve done (and all the ones since having kids) have been with professional packers/movers. I’m not sure I can ever pack myself again. I’ve been too spoiled.
Sure, they broke a few things. But still… worth it.
By worth it I mean someone else paid for it and that was very worth it to me![]()
Same here. I have books that my grandparents bequeathed me, mostly a chess library. I have the classics I grew up on. I have books that were gifts, and remind me of that person. I have books that formed who I am. I have favorites, which are old friends I visit. My kid reads my collections, like I read my mother's before her. That’s fair. I don’t blame you for purging them. I do purge ones I don’t care about. But, if it’s a good one, I don’t care how long it’s been since I opened it or if I’ll never touch it again.
I remember going through my parents bookshelf when I was a kid. Full of wonders.
Yesss! I am a very proud library patron. My son calls it “book land” and it’s my favorite place to take him.I read a lot. But I've never really bought books unless I had to because I've always gone to the library. I still aimlessly browse books in the library like I did as a kid
Oh, I still go to the library too! And not just for my librarian thing...I read a lot. But I've never really bought books unless I had to because I've always gone to the library. I still aimlessly browse books in the library like I did as a kid
I remember the wonders of coming across The Joy of Sex. However, that was in a dresser drawer not a bookshelf. That’s fair. I don’t blame you for purging them. I do purge ones I don’t care about. But, if it’s a good one, I don’t care how long it’s been since I opened it or if I’ll never touch it again.
