Sex & Shenanigans

I wish I knew what it was like to have a quiet mind. I have 45 voices going at all times, and they're all me. Add chomesthesia to that and my inner world is Loud, busy & colorful.

I bet you can just lay down & go to sleep, or focus in a classroom, huh...

A friend keeps recommending I try meditation and I told her, look, I have 27 voices up here, you know how long it would take to make them all quiet?

Feel your body getting heavy ... Your chest relaxing ... Your arms sinking ... Stacy quieting... Diane is breathing deeply... Linda is falling asleep, Tracy is quietly reading... Mindy stopped talking....

Ok so question for the masses…

When you read a book do you follow along with your brain in images … like watching a movie in your head as you are reading?

If you DONT do this… what do you do?

Do you read along as an inner monologue in your own voice like an audiobook?

Do you see the words in your brain like text bubbles?
As a fully paid up member of the 'masses' I'd say a good writer can paint pictures in you brain, a few well written words can take you on a journey
