I watched every episode of that show except the last one.

I liked the show the first couple seasons, but I just kept watching.

I do hate a laugh track though. For me, if your show can’t stand without a laugh track, you need better jokes.

The last season was the worst. And the finale was awful.

I have and I agree. I liked it but I like Steve Carrell more than Ricky Gervais well and pretty much the entire American cast more tbh.

It definitely has a different feel. I’ve seen the US version through, many times. It’s much easier to watch.

But for me, there is a complexity to the British one that I just love.

It just got so stupid. I couldn’t stand it at that point. But, the sunk cost fallacy kept me watching. The idea for the show was good. Its execution just didn’t do it for me.

The UK version is painful. But I love the cringe. Ricky Gervais and his David Brent character lack the likability of Michael Scott. But that’s part of what I love about it. It’s awkward from the first minute.

The first time I saw The US version I didn’t like it. I had to start from the beginning and then I got it. It’s such a well-written show. The last 2 seasons had some lulls. But still great.

There are some really talented writers on that show. I love Mindy Kaling. Her show The Mindy Project was wonderful, too.

I watched it when it first came out and then just recently with my daughter... I loved it even more the second time. And Morgan is just delightful. Lol.
