Hugs. It really sucks. The first year was the hardest with all the firsts that my dad wasn’t there for. Personally, talking about him and telling stories about him that make me smile and laugh help a ton. I was incredibly lucky to have him in my life and celebrating that both honors him and makes me feel better even if I still miss him.
