I don't know your person but for me the known felt so nice despite the red flags. Now even though the unknown can be uncomfortable I no longer second guess myself and that is worth everything.

For me, there's peace in having let it go because I am tired of having to look over my shoulder or "watch" patterns of someone who gets caught in a lie. But, that doesn't mean I don't miss the companionship.
