Anyone have any solid suggestions on how I can get some consistent sleep tonight and tomorrow night? I’ll be in a hotel in nyc. I’m not exaggerating that I have literally gotten maybe 2 hours of sleep since I woke up Monday morning. Also I don’t drink or use cannabis so it needs to be au natch. Appreciate any advice!:) I’m running on fumes and when I get to nyc this morning I have a lunch, 2 afternoon meetings and a dinner.
You poor thing! I know about not enough sleep! L-tryptophan is an amino acid that is a precursor to serotonin and melatonin. Foods that contain tryptophan include turkey, eggs, and milk. A turkey sandwich with some warm milk as a bedtime snack may help you sleep.

There's a tea called Sleepytime tea that 8 sometimes drink before bed.

I hope you're able to get the sleep you need! 😴 💤

With the exception, with hurricanes we can plan for close to a week ahead of time (I’ve ridden out more than I can count) but with tornados, they come like a thief in the night. Like a finger of God reaching down…

On that note…the Morning Z…sorry a tad late this morning…i kinda sorta got to sleep in😂

Sleeping in is always a good thing, HDH!

I don’t fear much weather wise (although I have a healthy respect for Mother Nature), having seen just about everything, but tornadoes scare the ever living 💩 out of me!

We don’t know for sure, but during the last hurricane, we think we had one, probably an F1 that hit our back yard. The reason we think it was a 🌪️ was the neighbors pine trees that ended up on the other neighbors house, had a twist in the trunks where it didn’t snap clean. They were 40’ pines. Our back yard it laid our back fence down, but no other damage. It was in the middle of the night, the wind was howling all night, so no way to hear the “freight train” sound…it sounded like that for 8 hours!
That sounds so scary! Fortunately, we don't get them that often here. Now, earthquakes...

They look quite nice. How long will the blooms last.

Thinking about revamping my garden and going with something that offers appeal yet something that I won't have to spend $$ on replanting every year.
If I deadhead them they will bloom til August. Stay green for a while. I planted them from a rhizome someone gave me and thay have quadrupled in size in 2 years. Once they get to big you can split them up and replant easily. Not deep and they will look shifty first year but are going strong now
