Day 6: A song from a boy band

This boy band formed in the late 90s. I didn’t know of them then. I was too busy kissing my computer screen to pictures of the Backstreet Boys (true story- you could put the Backstreets Back CD in the computer and get the lyrics and bonus photos of the band. My friends and I would take turns kissing screen when it was a photo of our favorite band member).
I stumbled across Westlife a few years ago on a random playlist. I didn’t know this was a boy band reunited type thing. I unironically love this song.
I even use a clip of the chorus-altered a bit- to sing to my daughter every time I get her up from a nap. I sing:
“Hello, my love
I’ve been searching for a baby like you
For most my life

Yeah, I don’t see this as the opposition. Saying you are attracted to women who don’t think they are beautiful is saying you like them being insecure. You can like someone despite their insecurities but I don’t think you should like them because of them.
We should all encourage our partners to be secure and confident.

Never in anything have I ever written here tried to say that only an insecure woman is attractiveto me. I was trying to convey that what I absolutely find unattractive is Vainity in a person. I have no issue with a woman that is confident in who she is, or with someone that can enjoy a compliment given to her that gives her a "pep in her step" for the day.
